World Mining Expo will be realized concurrently with “22^nd World Mining Congress” as usual. The organization of this great Expo, which has worldwide importance, will be conducted by ZED Fair & Exhibition Services. The Mining Expo will be inaugurated in İstanbul Expo Center at Congress valley, located at the most central place of Istanbul, between 11 – 16 September 2011.

The Mining Expo which will be held In the frame of General theme of the Congress “Innovations and Challenges in Mining”, will enable to share all the innovations and new technologies in the mining sector.

Over 1500 expected participants from 40 different country to Congress; and over 400 national and international expected company to Expo, 12.000 sqm closed area and 10.000 sqm open area is allocated for Mining Expo and the Expo will take place in 9, 10, 11 Halls.

• The fairground, known as İstanbul EXPO Center, attracts great attention in the area of global fair organization due to its accessibility and central location.
• Thanks to its proximity to city center, the Expo offers visitors the opportunity to know Istanbul closely at the same time.
• 5 minute distance to Istanbul Ataturk International Airport facilitates transportation to the fairground considerably and enables fast delivery of freight to the fairground.
• Travel to the fairground, from where the World Mining Congress is organized, lasts maximum half an hour by various transportation alternatives, primarily underground.
