World Mining Congress Turkish National Committee proudly announces 22. World Mining Congress and Expo which will be held on dates September 11-16, 2011 in İstanbul.

General theme of the Congress is “Innovations and Challenges in Mining” which will allow a wide diversity of topics on mining to be discussed in concurrent sessions.

Aiming at a successful event, 22. World Mining Congress Organization Committee will organize the 22. World Mining Congress in the newest jewel on fabled Istanbul horizon; the Istanbul Lutfi Kırdar Convention & Exhibition Centre which is ideally located in the heart of the city's business, cultural and commercial districts and in walking distance of 16 hotels, 3,400 guestrooms. With a high capacity for the Conference even with 2,000 delegates; Istanbul Lutfi Kırdar Convention & Exhibition Centre has the facilities, professional management and highly trained staff for Congress to be successful and enjoyable.

Congress sessions will take place at Lutfi Kırdar Convention & Exhibition Centre (ICEC) Anadolu Auditorium which is a conference venue with a floor area of 2,842 m² and can accommodate 2,000 people.

The auditorium has three levels; ground, first and second with a total of 12 entrances on these levels. It is equipped with the latest technology to provide best Congress atmosphere for the 22. World Mining Congress attandences.
